When: Saturday 10 January 2009, 10:00 – 12:00
Where: University of East London, Docklands Campus

World Cruising Club – organizers of the Atlantic Rally for Cruisers, ARC Europe and other cruising rallies – has teamed together with Yachting World Magazine to stage an Atlantic Circuit Forum on the first Saturday of the London Boat Show 2009.

As leaders in the offshore cruising world, representatives from World Cruising Club and Yachting World will join with a panel of experts bring together a broad range of cruising knowledge and experience. The Forum will discuss the planning and preparation required for an Atlantic Circuit, with special emphasis on the ARC and what to expect in terms of weather and equipment issues.

If you are planning an Atlantic Circuit, or indeed any voyage of extended offshore cruising, this Forum will be well worth two hours of your time. Entry is free, however as places are limited, delegates are asked to pre-register via the website at or direct with World Cruising Club.

“Absolutely first rate event with lots of really good information from excellent contributors,” was how Chris Marchant, a delegate from the last forum described the session. With so much expert advice on offer and free entry, the Forum is likely to be well attended.

The Atlantic Circuit Forum will take place from 10:00 to 12:00 on Saturday 10 January at the University of East London – Docklands Campus, close to the Excel Centre.

Entry to the Forum is free. However, as places are restricted to 200 interested parties are requested to pre-register via the website as soon as possible to secure their places.
